The purpose of the project was to gather information from national, state, and local preparedness officials, as well as experts, regarding their knowledge, need, and interest in preparedness modeling. The information from this project helped inform the development of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Preparedness Modeling Unit for the National Center for Environmental Health, Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. MPHI-CDMTR provided preparedness and data collection expertise, identifed key stakeholders for data collection, conducted data collection, and participated in data analysis and reporting.
